Memorial Day Weekend

Well, we were mighty busy this weekend. It was a good weekend, but very busy. We didn’t go traveling like a lot of other people did. We stayed home and finished a few things that needed finishing and did a few things that needed doing.

Saturday Adam got to mow the lawn like he does every week. Joy right. When I was coming inside from one of my trips out to check on him, I almost stepped on this GIGANTIC spider. It was about this size of a silver dollar.

Later that day we went shopping. Adam took me to buy maternity clothes. All my clothes are starting to get to the point that they don’t fit right. My jeans are really uncomfortable, even when I use a hairtie to extend the button, and my belly is a little pudgy for most of my shirts. I don’t like wearing them that way. So, we got a few shirts and pants/shorts for me. I feel a little silly wearing them since I’m really not “showing” in most people’s definition of “showing,” but I don’t really care since they are really comfortable. πŸ™‚

Sunday was a pretty normal Sunday. We went to church. Came home, chatted with Adam’s parents, played some Mario Kart and took a nap. Then we went to my parents for dinner, Guitar Hero and our typical Sunday evening.

Monday was a great day! We cleaned out the garage in the morning and we were so proud we took pictures.

Then we had Memorial Day lunch with my family. Everyone one ate too much. By the time we went to see Indiana Jones we were all still felt like we were rolling round. For Adam and I think was the second time we saw Indiana Jones. We enjoyed it. πŸ™‚ That night, Adam packed up the DVDs we had on a book case and moved all of our rat’s nest of cords behind the bookcase so we don’t see it under the desk anymore. πŸ™‚ He did a really good job with it. It looks a million times better than it did before! It’s amazing!

Hope all is well for everyone else. πŸ™‚
